APEXi POWER FC AND COMMANDER
Aftermarket Fuel and Ignition Timing Computer
The Apexi Power FC is a very versatile aftermarket fuel and ignition timing computer. Remove your factory ECU and The Power FC is a direct replacement.
You do not need to replace the factory harness and all normal operation
accessories will continue to work.
For a faster tuning process the Power FC is also preprogrammed
with base maps which you build on for maximum performance.
The Power FC should be tuned by a professional tuner with a
good quality air/fuel ratio meter on a dyno.
By using the optional FC COMMANDER the user can adjust
and modify a wide range of settings.
The Apexi Power FC has the following Menus -
Monitor, Setting and Etc.
In Monitor Mode, the Commander can display up to 10 parameters of data in real time. There are 4 display patterns allowing parameters to be shown on screen at once. The data displays in numerical real time values. With the touch of a button Peak Hold values and Display Hold functions are displayed. The Map Trace Mode allows Ghost Map Tracing of the Fuel Correction and Ignition Timing maps.
Setting Mode allows the user full access to the 20x20 ignition timing and fuel correction maps. You can adjust any portion of the map in 5x5 sections.
If you are upgrading your air flow meter Air flow correction values can be entered as well as Injector pulse correction if you are upgrading injectors on the engine.
Under hard acceleration The Acceleration Enrichment Correction function improves response. When the engine is being cranked or the water temp is low, The Cranking Fuel Injection menu corrects the amount of fuel. A Separate Water Temp menu allows fuel correction according to water temperature.
The RPM menu allows adjustment of rev limiter and RPM idle.
ETC Menu contains parameters such as- Version Information, LCD Screen Brightness and Initialization of all Data. The user can also monitor all factory sensors through the one screen. This screen advises the user if any sensor is in use or working incorrectly.
The FC COMMANDER is a hand held controller which allows access to the many parameters of the POWER FC. It has a large backlit LCD display and allows the user a wide range of data adjustment. Once connected to the Power FC the FC COMMANDER takes the user to the Main Menu. From here the user can access the three Main Menus (Monitor, Setting and ETC). The FC COMMANDER communicates with the Power FC control unit creating a user friendly fuel management system.
